Maria E. Rosselson, a Board Certified comprehensive ophthalmologist, grew up in the West Rogers Park neighborhood of Chicago before moving to Buffalo Grove, Illinois, where she graduated from Stevenson High School.
Community Minded
Dr. Rosselson joined Chicago Cornea Consultants™ in July 2007. She is an associate member of the clinical faculty at Rush University Medical Center. Dr. Rosselson is committed to community outreach. She is the clinical adviser to the Rush University 20/20 Group and staffs a monthly eye clinic at the Chicago Community Health Center in West Town, providing volunteer ophthalmic care to the uninsured. Dr. Rosselson is also a part of the medical volunteer program at The ARK. She has also traveled to Vietnam to participate in a program teaching cataract surgery to local ophthalmologists. Dr. Rosselson is a member of the Illinois Association of Ophthalmology, Chicago Ophthalmological Society, American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO), American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery (ASCRS), Women in Ophthalmology (WOW), Illinois State Medical Society, and the Lake County Medical Society.
