Drs. Epstein and Majmudar recently attended the Acufocus World Users Group meeting prior to the ASCRS Annual Meeting in New Orleans. Our practice has been among the first in the Chicago area to offer this exciting new procedure to our patients. It is an implant inserted into to the cornea which restores near vision without affecting distance vision. It can be utilized in some patients who have previously undergone LASIK or cataract surgery.
