After completing advanced training in Cornea, External Diseases, and Refractive Surgery with Chicago Cornea Consultants™, she joined the practice as a full-time associate in the Summer of 2019. Dr. Epstein revels in solving the types of challenging clinical cases inherent in the practice of cornea and refractive surgery, as well as forging long-term relationships with patients. Her research is focused on optimizing endothelial keratoplasty surgical techniques as well as topography-guided laser vision correction and cross-linking for corneal ectasia. She has published several articles in the Journal of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, has served as a reviewer for prominent peer-review journals and refractive surgery books, has co-authored book chapters, and has presented at major international ophthalmic conferences.
