LASIK vision correction surgery can help bring much-needed relief from moderate cases of nearsightedness, farsightedness, and astigmatism. In many cases, the surgery can help eliminate the need for glasses and contact lenses altogether. We offer the bladeless Intralase method known as iLASIK as well as Contoura Vision-Assisted LASIK.

We are also very proud to offer the latest advancement in laser vision correction, SMILE (Small Incision Lenticule Extraction). Although it is not currently used to correct farsightedness, SMILE is a minimally invasive procedure and is oftentimes a solution for patients who have high levels of nearsightedness and are at high risk for dry eye. It can also be used to treat astigmatism. 

The EVO Visian ICL (Implantable Collamer Lens) can help patients to dramatically reduce their dependence on contact lenses and glasses. With the EVO, there is no need for an iridotomy before the surgery. The procedure can therefore be performed without having to come into the office for a separate laser session.

For patients who are not suitable candidates for LASIK, refractive lens exchange may be a viable alternative. The procedure can help mitigate presbyopia by utilizing a cutting-edge multifocal intraocular lens. We use the Alcon PanOptix trifocal IOL, the AMO Tecnis, and others.
